Exacaster’s team is looking for a IT Project Manager to join our Genesis team.
About the role:
We’re looking for a structured, proactive IT Project Manager to lead multiple AI-focused projects—ranging from smaller pilots to complex enterprise implementations. You’ll work in a dynamic, cross-functional, and multi-cultural environment, mainly in the Generative AI space, collaborating with engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders.
Your daily tasks will include:
- Serve as the primary liaison between the client and internal teams.
- Ensure effective communication and alignment among all project stakeholders.
Lead AI/ML solution development and implementation projects:
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans (scope, timeline, budget).
- Manage changes to scope, schedule, and resources to ensure project success.
- Coordinate internal cross-functional teams (AI engineers, data scientists, architects, analysts, etc.).
- Assign and track team tasks, ensure timely delivery of milestones.
- Monitor and manage project risks, proactively mitigating issues at the root cause.
- Handle project financials: cost tracking, billing, and budget reporting.
- Prepare and present project progress reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure contractual compliance and stakeholder satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
We are looking for a person who has:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, IT, Finance, or related fields.
- 3+ years of experience managing mid-to-large scale IT projects in a B2B setting.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams including developers, architects, analysts, and data engineers.
- Strong track record in stakeholder communication and managing complex deliverables.
- Fluent in Lithuanian (C1) and English (C2), both written and spoken.
- Solid understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
- Proficiency with tools such as Jira, MS Project, or similar.
- Strong financial management capabilities (budgeting, reporting, billing).
- Excellent PowerPoint and Excel skills.
- Ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Skilled at managing priorities, deadlines, and team coordination.
- Strong problem-solving and adaptability in fast-changing environments.
Nice to have things:
- Experience in managing AI, ML, or Data Science projects.
- PMP, PRINCE2 Practitioner, or similar certification.
- Experience working in or with the telecommunications sector.
- Understanding of data engineering concepts (data lakes, cloud architecture, ETL pipelines, etc.).
- Background in business or systems analysis.
- Strong interest in AI trends and emerging technologies.
