Exacaster’s team is looking for a Senior Product Manager to join our WOW team!

About the role: 

Exacaster is seeking a strategic and entrepreneurial Senior Product Manager to own and scale our Data Management business line. This is a pivotal leadership role with full P&L ownership, responsible for driving significant growth and profitability of our multi-million business line. You will shape the future of our data consulting, platform deployment, and managed services offerings.

Your daily tasks will include:

Strategic Leadership & Business Growth:

  • P&L Ownership: Take full ownership of the Data Management business line's P&L, with a clear mandate to drive toward our strategic goals of 20% annual revenue growth and 20% net profitability.
  • Portfolio Management: Oversee the entire portfolio of Data Management products and services, including data consulting, platform deployments, managed services, and competence out-staffing.
  • New Product Development: Identify market opportunities and drive the development of new, innovative products within the Data Management portfolio.

Product Strategy & Lifecycle Management:

  • Roadmap & Vision: Define and manage the product roadmap for all Data Management offerings, ensuring alignment with our long-term strategic framework.
  • End-to-End Execution: Manage the full product lifecycle from idea-stage and discovery through to launch, growth, and maturity.
  • Strategic Decisions: Deconstruct complex problems, conduct rigorous market and data analysis, and define critical KPIs to guide product development and measure success.
  • Problem Solving: Proactively identify and solve core challenges within the business line, such as unifying data modeling methodologies, sharpening the focus on business end-user needs, and standardizing our technology stack for scalability.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Market Influence:

  • Be the Hub: Act as the central, collaborative leader for the Data Management business line, working closely with Marketing, Sales, Data Engineering, Finance, and leadership.
  • Enable Sales Success: Partner with Account Teams to refine sales pitches, provide expert support in RFP processes, and translate customer feedback into actionable product insights.
  • Drive Marketing Strategy: Collaborate with the marketing team to build a scalable content marketing engine that generates high-quality inbound leads and establishes Exacaster as a thought leader in the data management space.
  • Leverage Engineering Excellence: Work in close partnership with our world-class Data Engineering teams to leverage their deep technological expertise and build best-in-class solutions.

Operational Excellence & Scalability:

  • Build the Machine: Design and implement the systems, processes, and templates necessary for the product function to scale effectively and operate with autonomy.
  • Champion Best Practices: Propose and implement solutions that are reusable, automated, and templatized by default, ensuring long-term efficiency and scalability.


We are looking for a person who has:

  • Proven B2B Product Management Experience: Demonstrated success in a senior product management role within a B2B context.
  • Deep Data Expertise: A strong understanding of the modern data landscape and technologies, including data lakes, data lakehouses, data mesh, data warehousing, and BI. Experience with data-intensive platforms or data management solutions is highly advantageous.
  • Technology Partnership Acumen: Familiarity with the process of building and managing technology partnerships with major players like AWS, Microsoft Azure, Snowflake, and others in the ecosystem.
  • Full Lifecycle Ownership: Proven ability to successfully guide products through all lifecycle stages, from initial discovery and validation to mature, ongoing business operations.
  • Market Experience: Experience with and understanding of enterprise clients in the EU, USA, and/or UK markets is highly desirable.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
