Exacaster’s team is looking for a Analytics Engineer to join our Brooklyn team.
About the role:
In this role, you'll design and develop scalable data pipelines using AWS Glue, dbt, Snowflake, and Python to deliver high-quality data solutions. A new team mate will work closely with both clients and internal teams to understand business needs, manage code deployments via Bitbucket and ensure data reliability and best practices across projects.

Your daily tasks will include:
- Design, develop, and improve scalable data pipelines using AWS Glue, dbt, Snowflake, and Python.
- Manage code repositories and deployment workflows using Bitbucket.
- Write efficient SQL and Python code for data modeling, transformation, and automation.
- Collaborate with external clients and internal teams to understand business needs and deliver data solutions.
- Ensure data quality, reliability, and adherence to best practices across projects.
- Work with QA to validate features and regression outcomes.
We are looking for a person who has:
- 1–2 years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or a similar role.
- Proficient in SQL and Python for data transformation and scripting.
- Hands-on experience with AWS Glue, dbt, and Git-based version control (preferably Bitbucket).
- Strong communication skills and ability to manage stakeholder relationships.
- Familiarity with data modeling, orchestration tools (e.g., dbt, Airflow), or cloud data warehouses (e.g. Snowflake).
Nice to have things:
- Experience in the telecommunications (telco) industry.
- Comfortable using tools such as Jira and Confluence.
- Familiar with BI visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.

- Monthly salary for this position from 2700 EUR to 4200 EUR gross (it will depend on the level of competence) for a full time role.
