Senior IT Project Manager

Exacaster’s team is looking for a Senior IT Project Manager to join our Tiger team.

About the role: 

We are looking for a Senior IT Project Manager who would bring order and structure to the multi-year multi-million data infrastructure set-up and marketing process automation projects, engaging with multi-cultural and cross-functional teams.

Your daily tasks will include:

• Lead large-scale and business-critical IT development or implementation projects independently, from initiation to delivery.
• Create, update, and monitor detailed project plans, covering scope, timeline, budget, and deliverables.
• Oversee scope/timeline/budget/team changes during project lifecycle to ensure the project stays on track.
• Delegate tasks to a development team and oversee the progress of developers to meet deadlines.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams (platform architects, data engineers, analysts, and operations) to ensure alignment with project goals.
• Manage relationships and communication between all stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
• Track and report project progress to the client and internal parties; exchange information with involved parties to ensure compliance with contractual terms.
• Ensure accurate cost tracking and client billing for project expenses.
• Address client needs and make project-level decisions to ensure overall project success.
• Adjust and adapt work processes to prevent possible problems and risks in projects at a root cause level.
• Act as the main point of contact between the client (telecommunications company) and internal teams.

• Engage stakeholders and manage expectations throughout the project lifecycle to foster collaboration and project success.

We are looking for a person who has:

• 4+ years of experience managing large, complex IT projects in a B2B environment.
• PMP or equivalent certification preferred.
• Experience leading diverse teams (data engineers, system architects, developers, analysts).
• Proficiency in Lithuanian (C1) and English (C2).
• Strong client-facing communication skills with the ability to translate technical details for non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines.
• Proven ability to proactively manage project risks and resolve issues.
• Problem-solving mindset with adaptability to fast-changing environments.
• Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
• Proficiency with project management tools (Jira, MS Project, etc.).
• Financial management skills (budgeting, cost tracking, reporting).
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills (PowerPoint, Excel).
• Willingness to travel internationally (up to 2 weeks per quarter).

Nice to have things:

• Experience in the telecommunications sector.
• Understanding of IT infrastructure (networking, cloud, etc.).
• Familiarity with big data management (data platforms, ETL processes, cloud architecture).
• Direct experience managing data-related projects (data platform setup, data workflow migration).
• Basic skills in systems analysis or business analysis.
